Michelle Malamis, LLMSW

Michelle Malamis, LMSW, is a clinical social worker and a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Social Work. She has over 25 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, including eight years supporting adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.
Michelle is passionate about providing comfortable, individualized care to help you find the most effective path to living a better life. Michelle is experienced working with people who may struggle with anxiety, stress due to daily life or major life changes, depression, trauma, grief and loss, abuse, and family/relationship conflict. Michelle also enjoys working with couples.
Michelle utilizes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing and other modalities to support her clients.
