Manisha Patel, LMSW
Manisha Patel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a graduate degree from Wayne State University. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing home and hospice care, clinics that specialize in substance abuse, and juvenile detention centers. This has afforded her the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical and administrative roles, along with working with diverse clientele and concerns. Manisha has extensive experience with working with anxiety, mood disorders and grief and loss, along with depression, addressing concerns in the workforce and focusing on engaging in healthy habits. Her approach to therapy is empowerment centered, strength and solution based. She incorporates CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), balancing physical and emotional health and highlighting a whole body approach. Manisha enjoys working with clients of different cultures and nationalities, engaging with family dynamics, generational differences and adjustment to new cultures.
