Jean Nemenzik, LMSW
Jean Nemenzik, LMSW, is a clinical social worker and graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She has over 20 years of experience in clinical and macro level social work, as well as academia.
Jean has extensive experience in the implementation, operation and management of evidence-based practices including Assertive Community Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Multi-Family Group Therapy, and Parent Management Training among others. Through her diverse and extensive work experiences Jean has had the opportunity to work in areas of divorce and custody mediation, treatment of severe and persistent mental illness, personality and mood disorders, eating disorders and trauma; as well as issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community. She has had the privilege of treating clients from diverse backgrounds including college students and staff at Columbia University and University of Michigan.
Jean has previously worked as a therapist at the DBT Institute of Michigan and has served as Clinical Director at Kadima and Hope Network. She is a passionate, extensively trained and effective clinician, equipped and eager to treat a broad spectrum of concerns in partnership with her clients.
